As soon as the contract with our second former agent expired, I called Kara. She came to our house the next day to officially l

"After living 52 years in the house we designed and built adjoining a beautiful golf course, we decided it was time to move into a retirement community where the association takes care of everything - repairs, maintenance, taxes, insurance, security, lawn-care, landscaping, and even on-call services for medical and other emergences. Leaving the home where we had raised four children, entertained seven grand-children, and had received scores of friends, was traumatic to contemplate. Some of our friends suggested we should sell the property ourselves, but we opted to ask a fellow church member, who was knowledgeable in real-estate transactions, to advise us. "Kara Edenfield was all we expected in a realtor and more. How many realtors do you know that will list your house, then sit back and wait on someone else to sell it through the MLS listing? Not Kara. She took ownership in selling our home herself. She was anxious---yes, actually anxious---to do open houses. When anyone came and looked at our home, she always called and gave us a complete report on how the visit went. This was on all visits, not just the prospects that Kara brought by the house. She was very pro-active in learning what was going on with everyone that was brought to our house. I was very impressed with her attentiveness. We sold our home while we were in New York City on a family vacation.
